Stephen C. Ford, CEO

Steve has extensive experience in supporting CEOs, C-Suite/senior executives, leadership teams and high potential talent to prepare for, and succeed in, new and evolving roles. His experience growing businesses and global partnerships provides a strong understanding of the business, leadership and interpersonal challenges executives face thus delivering successful strategies to achieve individual and organizational goals. Steve’s career has been spent providing strategic advice to corporate executives managing through periods of high change including cultural change. This includes providing governance advice and solutions for smaller companies and family teams.

He has founded/co-founded four businesses including growing a global business and has been active in directorship, business and human resources organizations, often holding leadership positions. He was a founder of Fitzgerald, Stevens & Ford and CEO. During this time, he was a founding partner and director of OI Partners, Inc.; for three years he served as CEO and Board Chair when OIP tripled in size, became global, and enhanced its reputation as an innovator. He led OIP through the planning and implementation of a major restructuring to facilitate growth including developing the Board’s Governance structure. He became Chairman Emeritus of OI and member of the Board of OI Global Partners with offices in 30 counties. For NACDNE, he was Chair of the Boston Breakfast Series, created the Directors Registry. Steve was on the Chapter Board and is currently on the Emeritus Board. He is a Corporator at Emerson Hospital.

Steve has an M.B.A. and B.A. He holds is a Governance Fellow with NACD; is a Certified Human Capital Strategist, and is certified in multiple assessment tools including individual and team 360° feedback, and role assessments.
